우리는 제한된 인식의 형상으로만 사는 것이 독인지를 알아차리지 못한다

왜 독인가,

그것은 그대 존재의 완결을 막기 때문이다

오염이다,

언제나 무수한 개념들과 의도들, 자유롭기 위한 준비, 이런 온갖 것들

자유는 자유다, 하지만 싸지 않다

그대가 그것을 위해 애써야 한다

우리 모두 아주 나쁜 습관들을 길러놨다

나쁜 습관이란, 그대가 마음과 제한된 인식인 듯 사는 것

결코 자유로워지지 않을 것이다

자유란, 그대가 끊어지지 않는 행복과 평화다 라는 것이다

그것은 오로지 가슴에서 일어난다, 머리가 아니다

머리를 바라보는 법을 배워야 한다, 가슴에 남아 있으면서

그대가 보는 그 밖에 모든 것들이 일시적이다

that's why this exercise is called just be given

now sahaja listens so much teachings over the years

now sit down

so i put it in front of sangha, i don't want to hear any more your stories

your story is not important for you, not important for me

it doesn't contribute anything to the world

it's ego that is thinking you're something special--

그래서 이 연습이 '그냥 있어라'라 불린다

사하자는 수 년에 걸쳐 아주 많은 가르침들을 들었다

이제 앉아라

내가 공동체 앞에 그것을 둔다

난 더 이상 그대의 이야기들을 듣고 싶지 않다

그대의 이야기는 그대에게 중요하지 않고, 나에게 중요하지 않다

세상에 어떤 것도 기여하지 않는다

그대가 뭔가 특별하다고 생각하는 것은 에고일 뿐이다

if you really intend to wake up to the potential of your being, 

to awaken to the height of your being,

than going around in the circle,

then sit and do

그대가 계속 돌고 돌기 보다

정말로 그대 존재의 잠재력에 깨어나려 한다면,

그대 존재의 정점에 깨어나려 한다면,

그러면 앉아서, 해라

so i feel an intelligent being, 'i must give it a try'

it doesn't matter if you find it is so hard

you know why so hard? because the furst is so sweet

it's not cheap

freedom is free, is not cheap

you must work for it

because all of us have developed very bad habits

and bad habit is to live as though you're mind and your person

you will never be free

그래서 나는, 지성적 존재란, '난 시도해 봐야 한다'로 느껴진다

그것이 너무 힘들다고 발견하는 것은 상관없다

왜 너무 힘든지 아는가

그 결실이 너무 맛있으므로

그것은 싸구려가 아니다

자유는 자유다, 싸지 않다

그대는 그것을 위해 애써야 한다

우리 모두 아주 나쁜 습관들을 길러놨다

그리고 나쁜 습관은, 그대가 마음과 제한된 인식인 듯 사는 것

결코 자유로워지지 않을 것이다

freedom means that you are unbroken happiness and peace

that only happens here (heart), not here (head)

you have to learn to observe this (head) while remaining here (heart)

자유란, 그대가 끊어지지 않는 행복과 평화다 라는 것이다

그것은 오로지 가슴에서 일어난다, 머리가 아니다

머리를 바라보는 법을 배워야 한다, 가슴에 남아 있으면서

everything else is you see, those are momentary

그대가 보는 그 밖에 모든 것들이 일시적이다

maya will read scriptures to you

but he will set you up so that you'll not really take it in

hitchhiking from teaching to teaching, but to sit,

just like you cannot learn meditation from reading books

you have to sit

i've not even called it a meditation

observing, self observation

환영이 그대에게 경전들을 읽어줄 것이다

하지만 그는 설치해 놓을 것이다, 그대가 그것을 정말로 받아들이지는 않도록

가르침에서 가르침으로의 히치하이킹

붙들고 앉지는 않는다

책을 읽는 것에서 명상을 배울 수 없는 것과 같다

앉아야 한다

난 그것을 명상이라 하지도 않는다

관찰하기, 자기 관찰

this i find is the most direct

live as though you don't have time

because maya will offer you time, 'you can do it next week'

for this, you must choose

and i will say, the authentic power in the universe supports your seeing this

이것이 내가 가장, 바로 가는 것으로 보는 것이다

그대에게 시간이 없는 것처럼 살아라

환영은 그대에게 시간을 내놓을 것이므로, '넌 그것을 다음 주에 할 수 있다'

이것에서, 그대가 선택해야 한다

그리고 나는 말하겠다,

온 세상의 진실한 힘이 그대가 이것을 바라보는 것을 지원한다

if you want to use your time well, in a wolrd you go and sit by yourself a bit

we don't realize living only in the form of personhood is poison,

why poison? because it blocks your completeness of your being,

contamination, always a lot of concepts, intentions, preparing to be free, all this kind of stuff

그대의 시간을 잘 활용하고 싶다면, 세상에서 잠시 그대 홀로 가서 앉아라

우리는 제한된 인식의 형상으로만 사는 것이 독인지를 알아차리지 못한다

왜 독인가,

그것은 그대 존재의 완결을 차단하기 때문이다

오염이다,

언제나 무수한 개념들과 의도들, 자유롭기 위한 준비, 이런 온갖 것들

you cannot fail

fail means, you give up, mind beat you up

그대는 실패할 수 없다

실패란, 그대가 포기하는 것이다, 마음이 그대를 때려 눕힌다

learn to sit

there has never been an awaken being who has not sat

and try to be yourself

but without self image

that releases the grace of the supreme

앉는 법을 배워라

앉지 않은, 깨어난 존재는 있은 적이 없다

그대 자신으로 있으려 해라

하지만 자기 이미지 없이

그것으로 최상의 존재의 은혜로움이 놓여난다

so if you wish to take this, i bless you for this

to power in the universe which is totally aligned with your inmost being,

impart grace to you for this

그대가 이것을 받아들이고 싶다면

난 이것을 위해 그대를 축복한다

온 세상의 힘, 완전히 그대 가장 안쪽의 존재와 일치하는 것이

이것을 위해 그대에게 은혜로움을 건넨다

that is the most empowering time i can have with you

그것이 내가 그대와 함께할 수 있는, 가장 힘을 주는 시간인 것이다

그리고 그대가 매번 끌려가는 느낌이 들 때마다

괜찮다, 화 낼 것 없다, 좌절할 것 없다,

그냥 다시 계속 잘라내라

어느 지점에서 다시, 에너지가 여기 에 머문다

그리고 소음, 그대가 그것에 먹이를 주지 않는다면

정말 그대인 대로 그대 자신을 느끼기 시작할 수 있다

when it come to awaken to your eternal nature, 

there is fear come, some resistance to pull away

because the individualized identity feels threatened,

by the sense of nothingness that i'm going to lose everything i have gained,

which is not much troubled

그대의 영원한 본성에 깨어나기에 이를 때

두려움이 나타난다, 뒤로 물러나려는 저항이 있다

개별화된 동일시가 위협을 느끼기 때문이다

'내가 얻은 모든 것을 잃어버릴 것이다'라는, 아무것도 없음의 느낌에 의해,

그다지 문제가 되지 않는 것을

so this is paradox in some way

but at the same time, if there is yearning to go beyond,

everything become possible

everyone who come to satsang, if you come to satsang, it means that

the possibility of realizing self become alive

그래서 어느 면으로 이것이 모순이다

하지만 동시에 벗어나려는 열망이 있다면

모든 것이 가능해진다

사트상에 오는 모두, 그대가 사트상에 온다면,

자신에 대해 깨어날 가능성이 살아난다는 뜻이다

and when the light goes on, the maya will increase

maya comes from us too that resist to go beyond

it's lke fear, we're attracted to change and yet afraid to change,

when the change is too profound

so this is why prolong this seeming evolution towards awakening

그리고 그 빛이 계속 갈 때, 환영이 증가할 것이다

환영은 우리에게 나오는 것이기도 하다,

벗어나려는데 대한 저항

우리가 변화에 끌리면서도 변화를 두려워하는, 두려움 같다

변화가 너무나 깊은 것일 때

그래서 이것이, 깨어남을 향하는 진화로 보이는 것을 지연시킨다

if you follow the guidance that's given, it reveals it straight away actually

but what i found is there is fear that comes with following something so direct

그대가 주어진 지침을 따른다면, 사실 그것으로 바로 드러난다

하지만 내가 발견한 것은,

아주 바로 가는 무언가를 따르는 것과 함께 두려움이 있다

we tolerate the mind stuff, because nobody tell you differently

and that mind stuff is the force of maya 

that is affecting your inner peace, keeping you trapped,

always offering something for your attention, feeding the attention, feeding the person,

so just this simple exercise

우리는 마음을 견딘다, 아무도 그대에게 다르게 말하지 않으므로

그리고 마음 등은 환영의 힘이다

그것이 그대 안의 평화에 영향을 미친다, 그대를 계속 가두어 둔다,

항상 그대의 주의를 위한 무언가를 내놓으면서, 주의에 먹이를 주면서, 제한된 인식에 먹이를 주면서

그래서 단지 이 간단한 연습으로

if we do, and persist

because also there is resistance to persisting it,

mind says, 'ok you've done it, good, see'

and you're off again

but the one who will win is the one who persist it

우리가 한다면, 그리고 지속한다

왜냐하면 지속하는데 대한 저항 또한 있다

마음은, '그래 됐다, 좋아, 봐라'라 한다

그리고 그대는 다시 그만 한다

하지만 이기게 될 자는, 지속하는 자다

it's not religion, it's not philosophy

practical and any level you do,

observe the mind without buying into the identity of the mind

종교가 아니다, 철학이 아니다

실용적이다, 어느 수준이든 그대가 한다,

마음에의 동일시를 집어들지 않고, 마음을 바라본다

and each you feel you get pulled into, ok, no anger, no frustration,

just again keep cutting

at some point again, the energy stays here

and noise, if you don't feed it, 

that's called starving the mind

means you can begin to feel yourself as you really are

그리고 그대가 매번 끌려가는 느낌이 들 때마다

괜찮다, 화 낼 것 없다, 좌절할 것 없다,

그냥 다시 계속 잘라내라

어느 지점에서 다시, 에너지가 여기 에 머문다

그리고 소음, 그대가 그것에 먹이를 주지 않는다면

정말 그대인 대로 그대 자신을 느끼기 시작할 수 있다

i feel each one's life could be, to discover the full potential of why you're in this body

you don't have to know that

life in form has a certain amount of years, there's no gurantee about that

for your soul, it's ongoing

but eternity does not mean free by itself

means we can continue in states of limitainos and ignorant, life after life

난,

각자의 삶이 왜 이 몸으로 있는지와 관련해서

완전한 잠재성을 발견하는 것일 수 있다고 여긴다

그대가 그것을 알아야 할 필요는 없다

형상으로 있는 삶에는 특정한 햇수가 있다, 보장이 없다

그대의 영혼은 계속 간다

하지만 영원 이 그 자체로 자유롭다는 뜻은 아니다

우리가 삶 이후 삶, 계속해서,

제한과 무지의 상태들로 있을 수 있다는 뜻이다

but the soul must taste at some point even in one life, you come to realize,

we can never really be fulfilled in a personal existence

it's not stae you can attain and it stays

we are experiencing states that we wanted earlier, and they arrive,

and then you want something more

it's like that in the phenomenal realm of life

하지만 한 번의 삶에서라도 어느 지점에서, 영혼은 맛 봐야 한다, 

그대가 깨닫게 된다, 우리는 결코 제한된 인식의 존재로는 충족될 수 없다

그것은 그대가 얻고, 머물 수 있는 상태가 아니다

우리는 이전에 원한 상태들을 경험하고 있다,

그것들이 도달한다,

그런 다음 그대는 다른 무언가를 더 원한다

삶의 현상적 영역에서는 그런 식이다

the urge is always there to awaken to the fullness of who you are fundamentally

but not all beings come to that level of awareness enough to make full use of lifetime

you may have heared about the wheel of samsara,

always all things in a manifestation, always evolve 

but real evolution is to evolve in the beingness

in that you come back to purity of being

근본적으로 그대의 완전함에 깨어나려는 열망은 항상 있다

하지만 모든 존재들이, 삶을 완전히 활용하는 정도의 각성에 이르지는 못하고 있다

삼사라의 수레바퀴에 대해 들어본 적 있을 것이다

드러나 보이는 것들에서의 모든 것들이 항상 진화한다

하지만 진짜 진화는 존재로 진화하는 것이다

그것에서 그대는 존재의 순수로 되돌아간다

this purity of being is always here with us

but once we take the name of personhood, it hides the purity in us

and we are striving in the basis of personhood

존재의 순수는 항상 우리와 있다

하지만 우리가 제한된 인식의 이름을 입어 버리면, 그것이 우리 안의 순수를 숨긴다

그리고 우리는 제한에 인식에 근거해서 몸부림 친다

at some point, we come to a sufficient awareness,

to that the quality of teaching come to you that enables you to go higher

it is good fortune to get really good teaching

but it's most auspicious to realize the teaching

teaching by itself will not get anybody anywhere

it will help you to realize what you need to let go of

어느 지점에 이르면 충분한 자각에 이른다,

그것에, 질 있는 가르침이 그대에게 나타난다, 그대가 더 높이 갈 수 있도록

정말로 좋은 가르침을 얻는 것은 행운이다

하지만 그 가르침을 깨닫는 것이 가장 상서롭다

가르침 자체로는 어느 누구도 어디에도 데려가지 못할 것이다

그대가 놓아야 하는 것을 알아차리도록 도울 것이다

but teaching must combust into pure beingness

meaning that teaching is not something you should keep

because even your mind cannot retain teaching

so the teaching must be realized in the heart

meaning that you become aware awake to the beingness, and not just to the person

in a sense we have left our beingness behind also

하지만 가르침은 순수 존재로 전환되어야 한다

가르침은 그대가 간직해야 하는 무언가가 아니라는 뜻이다

그대의 마음은 가르침을 갖고 있을 수조차 없다

그래서 가르침은 가슴에서 깨달아져야 한다

그대가 단지 제한된 인식에가 아니라, 존재에 깨어나게 된다는 뜻이다

어느 면에서는 우리가 우리의 존재 또한 뒤에 남긴다고도

beingness is a mature existence,

is when you start to recognize from the place of beingness

존재는 성숙한 존재다

그대가 존재의 자리에서 알아차리기 시작할 때

now the challenge is for the individualized soul,

although we are eternal being, when we come into the body, we all get trapped into body identification

and because of the vulnerability of body identification, we're very insecure about the body

at the same time, there's a deep attraction to something eternal in everybody

but don't know how

개인화된 영혼에게 어려운 것은,

우리는 비록 영원한 존재지만, 몸에 들어설 때, 우리 모두 몸에의 동일시에 갇힌다

그리고 몸에의 동일시의 나약함 때문에, 우리는 몸과 관련해서 아주 불안하다

동시에 모두의 안에 영원한 무언가에 대한 깊은 끌림이 있다

하지만 어떻게 할 지는 모른다

and teachings have become very simple, very straightforward

so i see that teachings by themselves is not enough

the aspirtation to turn the teaching to combust into beingness

it has become very difficult, because the individual soul is afraid to lose the identity in the world

that's a big mistake

because even without this, your identity you cannot keep

is always changing

그리고 가르침은 아주 간단하게 되어 왔다, 아주 곧장 가는 것으로

그래서 나는, 가르침 만으로는 충분하지 않다고 본다

가르침을 존재로 전환시켜야겠다는 열망이

그것은 아주 어렵게 되었다, 개별 영혼은 세상에서의 정체성을 잃기 두려워하므로

그건 큰 실수다

가르침이 아니라 하더라도, 그대의 정체성을 그대가 유지할 수 없다

항상 변한다

그냥 놓는 법을 배워라

그대가 그대의 삶을 위해, 가족을 위해, 세상을 위해 할 수 있는 가장 친절한 것이다

그대가 그대의 삶을 학대하는 주된 자이기 때문이다

그대의 마음이 그렇게 한다

왜냐하면 현재 우리는 너무 많은 것들과 결합되어 있다

너무 많은 것들에 그대가 가치를 둔다

그것들로부터 좀 떨어져라

지구 상에서 그대에게 30분이 주어졌다면,

그것을 활용해라, 앉아서 해라

이렇게 해라, 그러면 그대는 제대로 삶을 활용했다

그래서 아주 간단한 것이다

무슨 신비인지, 아무도 그렇게 하지 않는다

sometimes i have to ask people to leave sahaja

some of them come alive

i wonder if you understand

don't be too comfortable in your skin

that's why sometimes life send sickness to you, troubles to you,

so you can't fantasize, you have to get real

let's fire enough

내가 사람들에게 사하자를 떠나라 해야 하는 때가 있다

그들 중에 살아나는 이들이 있다

그대가 이해하는지 모르겠다

그대의 피부 안에서 너무 안락해 있지 마라

그래서 때때로 삶은 그대에게 병을, 문제들을 보낸다

그래서 그대가 꿈 꿀 수 없도록

그대는 실제적이어야 한다

충분히 불 타자

just let go of things, consciously do it

learn to just let go

it's the most kind thing you can do for your life, your family, your world

because you're the main one molesting your life

your mind is doing it

그냥 모든 것들을 놓는다, 의식적으로 그렇게 한다

그냥 놓는 법을 배워라

그대가 그대의 삶을 위해, 가족을 위해, 세상을 위해 할 수 있는 가장 천절한 것이다

그대가 그대의 삶을 학대하는 주된 자이기 때문이다

그대의 마음이 그렇게 한다

not curse them, not fight them not judge them

learn to just simply isolate yourself from them

because you're still conscious

can you throw consciousness away?

everything else you can throw away

저주하는 것이 아니다, 싸우는 것이 아니다, 심판하는 것이 아니다

그냥 단순히 그대 자신을 그것들로부터 떼 내는 법을 배워라

그대는 그럼에도 의식이 있으므로

의식을 내던질 수 있는가

그것 외 모든 것을 그대는 내던질 수 있다

you're mostly troubled by the thing that you give great value to

or your're attached to, isn't it?

so i say, sit and be aware of them

but be aware that you're aware of them

it's already good

and you stay with it

그대가 크게 가치를 주는 것에 의해 주로 문제를 겪는다

혹은 그대가 집착하는 것

그렇지 않은가

그러니 내가 말한다, 앉아라, 그리고 그것들을 인식해라

하지만 그대가 그것들을 인식한다는 것을 인식해라

그것으로 이미 좋다

그리고 그것과 머물러라

a force will come and try to reengage your attention to other things

be aware of that also, and stay

and that will begin to bring you back to yourself

because at present we are combined with so many things

so many things you give value to

detach from them a little bit

어떤 힘이 나타날 것이다, 그대의 주의를 다른 것들에 다시 가져가려 할 것이다

그것 또한 인식해라, 머물러라

그러면 그것이 그대를 그대 자신에게 되돌려 줄 것이다

왜냐하면 현재 우리는 너무 많은 것들과 결합되어 있다

너무 많은 것들에 그대가 가치를 둔다

그것들로부터 좀 떨어져라

it's doesn't mean you have to sit around all day

no, don't demonstrate your sadhana

just you can do

then go out to do what you have to do in life, god gives this also

but spend a little time doing it

and if you spend 5 minute, that 5 minute will become divine 5 minute

what other instructions you want?

하루종일 앉아 있어야 한다는 뜻이 아니다

아니다, 그대의 수행을 내보이려 하지 마라

그냥 할 수 있다

그 다음 삶에서 그대가 해야 하는 것을 해라, 신은 이것 또한 준다

하지만 앉는 데 시간을 좀 들여라

그리고 그대가 5분을 한다면, 그 5분은 신성한 5분이 될 것이다

무슨 다른 지침들을 원하는가

you got half an hour on earth

use it, sit and do it

do this and you really made use of life

지구 상에서 그대에게 30분이 주어졌다,

그것을 활용해라, 앉아서 해라

이렇게 해라, 그러면 그대는 제대로 삶을 활용했다

sit until you stop being doer of it

until somehow lose the identity of spiritual person or doer of cosnciousness, just do

so simple thing

what a mystery

nobody do it

그대가 그것을 하는 자인 것이 멈추어질 때까지 앉아라

영적인 사람이라거나, 의식을 하는 자라는 동일시를 잃을 때까지, 그냥 해라

그래서 아주 간단한 것이다

무슨 신비인지, 아무도 그렇게 하지 않는다

이것에 관해서는 낭비할 시간이 없는 것처럼 살아라

다른 것들에 관해서는, 그대가 원하는 것을 해라

하지만 내가 힘 내어 해라 라 하고 싶은 것은,

그대 자신의 깨어남을 가장 우선으로 해라

그대가 깨어날 때까지, 그대는 노예다

'i'm aware of everything'  '난 모든 것을 인식한다'

yeah if you're aware of everything, why're you living like a fool?

your words are not true

그대가 모든 것을 인식한다면, 왜 그렇게 바보처럼 살고 있는가

그대의 말은 진실하지 않다

'we don't take time to introspect seriously'

'우리가 진지하게 탐구할 시간을 내지 않아서'

not just to introspect but to secure your seeing

you must sit with it

because we've learned everything by repetition

originally you're pure, picked up something over and over, and they became normalized in you,

and within that we find some level of comfort or something

단지 탐구 뿐 아니라, 그대의 바라봄을 확실하게 하는 것이다

붙들고 앉아야 한다

우리는 모든 것을 반복으로 배워왔다

본래 그대는 순수하다, 되풀이해서 무언가를 집어 들었다, 그것들이 그대 안에서 보통인 것이 되었다

그리고 그 안에서 우리는 뭔가 편안함이나 그런 것을 발견한다

there are some beings they're not be able to hear what we're sharing

because covering is so contaminated, they're not be able to energetically be

but you're here

to what extent, you can make use of it

it only offers

offering is a mirror to wake up to yourself

우리가 나누고 있는 것을 들을 수 없는 존재들이 있다

뒤덮고 있는 것이 너무 오염되어 있어서, 그들은 에너지상 있을 수 없다

하지만 그대는 여기에 있다

그 정도 만큼, 그대가 그것을 활용할 수 있다

그것은 내줄 뿐이다

내주는 것은, 그대 자신에게 깨어날 수 있는 거울을

but we're used to a mechanism of intellectual understanding

so i don't know who will follow this kind of guidance

하지만 우리는 지적 이해의 작동 방식에 익숙해 있다

그래서 누가 이런 안내를 따를지 모르겠다

it's going to kill you in less in a month

so 'i've been following you years'

oh you've been failing for years then, you've not followed

그것은 한 달도 안 되어 그대를 죽일 것이다

그래서, '난 당신을 몇 년 동안 따라왔다'라고 하는 것은,

그러면 그대는 몇 년 동안 실패해 왔다, 따르지 않았다 가 된다

about this thing, live as though you have no time to waste

about other things, do what you want

but my encouragement, to prioritize the realization of yourself

do anything you want

prioritize the realization of yourself

until you wake up, you're a slave

이것에 관해서는 낭비할 시간이 없는 것처럼 살아라

다른 것들에 관해서는, 그대가 원하는 것을 해라

하지만 내가 힘 내어 해라 라 하고 싶은 것은,

그대 자신의 깨어남을 가장 우선으로 해라

그대가 깨어날 때까지, 그대는 노예다

make use of it, or your mind is going to let you go wait for another teacher

it has done it before

활용해라, 그렇지 않으면 그대의 마음은 그대가 또 다른 스승을 기다리도록 할 것이다

이전에도 그랬던 것처럼

make use of spirituality, don't get stuck in the spirituality

only to be a mirror that reflects something that you came here to find

we've done it many times before, why not another time, you can do

but i say, this time, this possibility has come,

it's up to you

영적인 것을 활용해라, 영적인 것에서 정체 되지 말고

그대가 여기에 발견하러 온 무언가를 비추어 보이는 거울일 뿐이다

우리가 이전에 많이 한 것이다, 또 다른 때가 왜 없겠는가, 그럴 수 있다

하지만 나는, 이번에 라 한다, 이 가능성이 왔다

그대에게 달려 있다

of course there are many thing that put you off

no 1, force of habit,

you're used to being the person you think you are

물론 그대를 지연시키는 많은 것들이 있다

가장 먼저는 습관의 힘

그대는 그대라고 생각하는 제한된 인식이 되는 것에 익숙해졌다

the only constant is your inmost being

it all should be common sense thing

but you're struggling

유일하게 변하지 않는 것은 그대 가장 안쪽의 존재다

그런 것이 상식인 것이 되어야 한다

하지만 그대는 몸부림 친다

maya will pull you into thinking that you got time

of course you do, you have lifetimes actually

but that's not appealing for me

환영은 그대에게 시간이 있다 라는 생각으로 끌고 갈 것이다

물론 그대에게 시간이 있다, 여러 삶의 시간들이 있다 사실

하지만 나에게 매력적인 것은 아니다

we've done this before, everything become normalized, stupid things become normalized

and you forget your greatness, your perfect nature

그리고 그대는 그대의 위대함을 잊는다, 그대의 완벽한 본성을

그리고 그대는 상호 작용할 많은 것들을 발견할 것이다

그리고 어떤 이해 같은 것이 생기면

아닌 것들이 베어내지는 것으로 보게 되는 것 같다

그것이 진짜에서 나온다는 것을 제외하고

그것이 연결이다, 하지만 그것 자체로 진짜로서 있을 수 없다

you're not destined to feel nausea of ego forever

you are to make use of it

suffering is a tool to help you to transcend the thing that you came in this body

but you have the temptation of maya also to deal with

that will strengthen your attachment to the world

그대는 에고의 메스꺼움을 영원히 느끼도록 되어 있지 않다

그것은 활용하는 것이다

고통은 그대가 이 몸에 들어선 그것을 변형시키도록 그대를 돕고자 하는 도구다

하지만 환영의 유혹에 또한 대처해야 한다

 세상에 대한 그대의 집착을 강하게 할 것이다

everyone came with a certain body form to deal with certain vasanic characteristic of previous life even

and you keep evolving in the wheel

it feels like this

but you awake a certain point, you're interested in evolving in another stage

you want to be done with all things

from the lesser to the high, it's all some kind of burden

if you are not living the fullness of yourself

doesn't matter how high you go, at some point, you're still going to a higher state

모두가 특정한 몸을 갖고 왔다, 특정한 업에 대처하기 위해, 지난 삶의 것도

그리고 계속해서 도는 바퀴에서 계속해서 진화한다

이런 식인 것 같다

하지만 그대는 어느 지점에서 깨어난다, 또 다른 단계로 진화하는데 관심이 없다

모든 것을 그만 하고 싶다

낮은 것부터 높은 것까지, 모두 일종의 짐이다,

그대가 그대 자신의 완전함으로 살지 않는다면

얼마나 높이 그대가 가든 상관없다, 어느 지점에서, 그대는 여전히 더 높은 상태로 갈 것이다

so how to come out of this wheel

and you have been offered this

what is subtle now becomes very gross soon

something is subtle now because you're not clear about it

as you become clear, it becomes gross, 'oh i don't want that'

지금은 미묘한 것이 곧 비대해지게 된다

지금 무언가가 미묘하다, 그대가 그것에 대해 명확하지 않아서

그대가 명확해질수록, 그것이 역겹게 된다, '으 난 그것을 원하지 않아'

only detachment can bring you back to yourself

because every associations take you out

learn the power of detachment

it's a kind power

i'm not telling you to leave your family, --

learn power of detachment

it works immediately

오로지 집착 없음이 그대를 그대 자신에게 데려갈 수 있다

왜냐하면 모든 연관이 그대를 밖으로 데려간다

집착 없음의 힘을 배워라

친절한 힘이다

난 그대에게 그대의 가족을 떠나고, --를 말하고 있지 않다

집착 없음의 힘을 배워라

그것은 즉시 작용한다

when i say detachment, it will become also the things that are stimulating your person

and you observe that with detachment also

so you have to go beyond the likes and dislikes

i'm not saying you're going, i'm saying staying, revert to that place

who dares, wins

otherwise how you appear to other people does not count

내가 집착 없음 을 말할 때,

그것은 그대의 제한된 인식을 자극하는 것도 될 것이다

그것 또한 집착 없이 바라봐라

그래서 좋아하는 것, 좋아하지 않는 것을 넘어서 가야 한다

난 그대더러 가라 고 말하는 게 아니다, 머물러라, 그 자리로 되돌아가라

감히 하는 자가 이겨낸다

'it doesn't even feel like daring, just is'

'감히 하는 것으로도 느껴지지 않는다, 그냥 그런 것이다'

yes it is true, but you have start by being daring

when you go pass, then it will drop away

but you have to start somewhere

and as you grow in the earnestness, and the result of it,

you yourself will be self encouraged to continue

그렇다, 그것은 사실이다

하지만 감히 하는 것으로 시작해야 한다

지나고 나면, 그것은 사라질 것이다

하지만 어딘가에서 출발해야 한다

그리고 그대가 진지함에서 자랄수록, 그 결실이,

i feel the biggest thing is to settle for mediocrity,

because you feel a little bit nice, spiritually,

of course you can get that feeling many places

but what it means an enlightment, means to return to your original nature

which is timeless and imperishable

물론 그대는 많은 곳에서 그런 느낌을 얻을 수 있다

하지만 깨어남이란, 그대의 본성으로 되돌아간다는 뜻이다

시간이 존재하지 않고, 불변하는 

i find that human self is so immersed in personal identity, 

is very difficult to choose to say, 'i want to go beyond this'

because it's full of a lot of promises

and you will not take it up deeply and sincerely,

because you may still have some desires to fullfill in the phenomenal world

so you're not full hearted with it

난, 인간 자신은 제한된 인식의 동일시에 너무 잠겨 있어서

'난 이것을 벗어나고 싶다'라 하기로 선택하는 것이 아주 어려운 것을 본다

무수한 약속들로 가득하므로

그래서 그대는 깊이, 진지하게 받아들이지 못할 것이다

여전히 현상계에서 성취하고 싶은 욕망들을 갖고 있기 때문에

그래서 그대는 온 가슴으로 다하지 못한다

but it's a complete trick

because since you're born in this life, nothing has fulfilled you

if you find something, please tell me

for a short time, everything is fine for a bit

why, it's made by grace of god, thank you

so you will not give up this search for the thing which will fulfill you

하지만 그것은 완전히 속임수다

이 삶에서 그대가 태어난 후로, 그대를 채워준 것이 없다

you can be wonderful mother, and be totally free, without mother ego

i remember someone saying many many years ago, mother don't smother

don't overlove like mother ego

not just mother, father, worker, anything they're doing

you can do very well, in fact, best, because you don't have any emotional attachment to it

you don't have an ego attachment to it

but you have to find that inside your own self

그대는 아주 좋은 엄마일 수 있다, 그리고 완전히 자유로운,

엄마 에고 없이

오래 오래 전에 누군가가 말한 것이 기억난다, '엄마는 질식시키지 않는다'

과도하게 사랑하지 마라, 엄마 에고처럼

단지 엄마만이 아니라, 아빠도, 일하는 자도, 그들이 하는 어떤 것으로든

아주 잘 할 수 있다, 사실 최상으로

왜냐하면 그것에의 감정상 집착을 갖지 않기 때문이다

에고 집착을 가질 필요 없다

하지만 그대는 그대 자신 안의 것을 발견해야 한다

because ego is basically insecure identity

it's looking for approval from other egos

it's been stuck in that

에고는 기본적으로 불안한 동일시다

다른 에고들로부터의 인정을 구한다

그런 것에 정체되어 있다

what is subtle now becomes very gross soon

something is subtle now because you're not clear about it

as you become clear, it becomes gross, 'oh i don't want that'

지금은 미묘한 것이 곧 비대해지게 된다

지금 무언가가 미묘하다, 그대가 그것에 대해 명확하지 않아서

그대가 명확해질수록, 그것이 역겹게 된다, '으 난 그것을 원하지 않아'

you don't have to transform anything

all these things will come up if you're sitting

all the usual form of distractedness or what you may call, may come

get used to it

and see that you don't have to go fight there

you stay loyal to that deep space

just realize that without it, nothing is

it is root of them

그대가 어떤 것을 변형시킬 필요 없다

이런 온갖 것들이 나타날 것이다, 그대가 앉는다면

대개의 온갖 방해 형상들이나 그런 것들이 나타날 것이다

그것에 익숙해져라

그리고 그대가 그곳에 가서 싸울 필요 없다는 것을 봐라

깊은 공간에 충실하게 머물러라

그것 없이, 어떤 것도 있지 않다는 것을 알아차려라

그것이 그것들의 근원이다

this awareness, this god self is not fighting with the manifestations

it create it

so where you must fight with it?

for now you must take yourself away from it

because the supreme is not attached to the manifestation

it made it intentionally to be momentary and changeful

so you may discover the unchanging, and the timeless

이 자각, 이 신 자신 은

드러내 보이는 것들과 싸우지 않는다

그것이 만들어내는 것이다

그러니 그대가 어디에서 그것과 싸워야 하는가

지금은 그대 자신을 그것에서 물려야 한다

최상의 존재는 드러나 보이는 것들에 집착하지 않기 때문이다

그것이 의도적으로, 순간적인 것으로, 변하는 것으로 만들어냈다

그래서 그대가 변하지 않는 것을 발견할 수 있도록, 그리고 시간이 존재하지 않는 것

notice everything, and come to this place which is totally involved with anything at all

now the mind might think, 'i have to be involved with something, otherwise how the world works'

excuse me! who appoint you to take care of the world?

you cannot take care of even yourself

so i assure at least you take care of yourself in this way,

and then tell me if you sit properly, what's wrong with the world?

모든 것을 본다, 그리고 완전히 어떤 것과도 연관 없는 이 자리에 이르러라

마음은, '난 무언가에 개입해야 한다, 그렇지 않으면 세상이 어떻게 움직이는가'라 생각할 수 있다

누가 그대를 지명해서 세상을 보살피라 하는가

그대는 그대 자신조차 보살필 수 없다

그러니 적어도 이런 식으로, 그대 자신을 보살펴라

그런 다음 내게 말해라, 그대가 적절히 앉는다면

세상에 무슨 문제가 있는지

how does it take care of it? because still when i say, take care of it, 

there are still famine, war, all kind of stuff is happening in the world

you will not know how 

whatever has got to happen has to kind of work though

don't worry about these things, your mind cannot solve this

dissolve in this sitting, keep quiet,

and you will find something this world cannot teach you

어떻게 보살피는가, 왜냐하면 내가 보살펴라 라 말한다 해도

여전히 굶주림이 있고, 전쟁이 있다, 이런 온갖 것이 세상에서 일어나고 있다

그대는 어떻게 할 지 모를 것이다

일어나야 하는 것은 그것이 무엇이든, 겪어 나가야 하는 것과 같다

이런 것들에 대해 걱정하지 마라, 그대의 마음은 이것을 해결할 수 없다

이 앉아 있음에서 풀어져라, 고요히 있어라

그러면 그대는 이 세상이 그대에게 가르칠 수 없는 무언가를 발견할 것이다

do you hear what i say?

내가 말하는 것이 들리는가

habit to go out and try to fix things,

but i say, no you sit down now, the world doesn't need your participation now

go and sit down and let the world wait

you empty yourself of intentions, all of these things

learn to do it

and stay with it

습관은 나가서 잘못된 것들이라 고치려 한다

하지만 나는 말한다, 아니다 그대는 지금 앉아라, 세상은 지금 그대의 참여를 필요로 하지 않는다

가서 앉아라, 그리고 세상이 기다리도록 두어라

그대는 의도, 이런 모든 것들을 비워라

그렇게 하는 법을 배워라

그리고 그것과 머물러라

and at first it might feel it's impossible

yes, but you stick with it

why because i told you to do it

until you find the fruit of it

and then your joy will be so profound, you will not need

sometimes you will still need to go and sit down

because habits come back so quickly and you forget

the lord of universe inside your heart, you abandon anytime,

to choose your flavor of icecream

처음에는 그것이 불가능한 것처럼 느껴질 수 있다

그렇다, 하지만 그대는 그것을 꼭 붙들어라

왜 인가, 내가 그러라고 말했으므로

그대가 그 결실을 발견할 때까지

그런 다음 그대의 기쁨이 아주 깊어질 것이다, 그대가 할 필요 없을 것이다

so this little thing you must do

continue to sit and sit

and you find the strength, does not belong to your person

this power come from universal consciousness

i've not told you 10 steps to awakening, just sit, just do this

그러니 이 작은 것을 그대가 해야 한다

계속해서 앉아라, 앉아라

그러면 그대는 그 힘을 발견한다, 그대의 제한된 인식에 속해 있지 않은 것이다

이 힘은 전체 의식에서 나온다

as a matter of fact, the most time we're talking, we're telling lie

we are liars and lawyers

so you stay in this, you don't have to talk about it

and somebody speak about you, and they misunderstand you, it will not matter

you don't even understand yourself

so learn this simple thing

no one is doing it, and you do it

사실 우리가 말하는 대부분이 거짓말이다

우리는 거짓말쟁이다, 그리고 변호사다

그러니 그대는 이것에서 머물러라, 그것에 대해 말할 필요 없다

누군가가 그대에 대해 말한다, 그들은 그대를 오해한다, 그것은 상관 없다

그대가 그대 자신조차 이해하지 못한다

그러니 이 간단한 것을 배워라

아무도 하지 않는 것

그대는 그것을 해라
