집착을 떼는 것으로, 그대는 단일함을 경험할 수 있다,

그대 자신 안의 존재의 것을

그것만이 있을 정말로 느낄 수 있다

그것 외 세상의 모든 것이, 그대가 그것을 보는 것을 막는다

정말로 그런 것이 아니라, 집착 때문에

우리 안의 가짜 정체성이, 모든 것들 혹은 신으로부터의 분리감을 만든다

그래서 그런 태도를 갖는 것은 큰 기도다,

무엇이 들든, 난 오로지 이 형상만에 충성하지 않겠다,

왜냐하면 이 형상은, 나의 존재가 무한으로 확장할 수 있는 잠재력을 가두는 것이 될 수 있기 때문이다

some people just have that

they just have love for everyone anyway, they don't have prejudice against anybody

but they inherited that before, they may not have done any practice in this life

but something in them, had attained that by the grace of god,

they reached that level of internal attainment

그냥 그것을 갖고 있는 사람들이 있다,

그들은 어떻든 모두를 사랑한다, 어느 누구에 대한 편견도 없다

그들은 이전에 그것을 얻었다,

이번 삶에서는 어떤 수행도 하지 않았을 수 있다

하지만 그들 안의 무언가, 신의 은혜로움에 의해 그렇게 얻었다

그런 정도의, 안의 성취에 이르렀다

that is really high virtue

because it's all inclusive, it's not exclusive

and they know that god is not just god of a particular race of people, or even of just human beings,

god of all the creatures he make

and being on some other planets

is same one god over all of that

there is no different god

그것은 정말 높은 미덕이다

모든 것을 포함하므로

배타적이지 않다

if your mind and being can really encompass all the charege of that understanding,

you've done very well

because then you really, there's no need to keep coming back to any place out of compulsion,

but you're not bound to have to come back, on any kind of personal level

그대의 마음과 존재가 정말로, 그 이해에 해당할 것을 모두 포함시킬 수 있다면

그대는 아주 잘 했다

왜냐하면 그러면 그대는 정말로, 

강박으로 어떤 곳에 계속해서 돌아가야 할 필요가 없기 때문이다

그대가 돌아간다면, 오로지 사랑과 자비에서

하지만 되돌아가야 하는 것에, 어떤 종류의 제한된 인식의 정도에도, 속박되어 있지 않다

so it is really good to really develop and  come into the grand understanding,

that of the universal principle, universal god, beyond even shape,

because we give god a shape,

because we taking on the name and the form of a shape,

then attribute the shape to god also

but god is beyond quality, shape, everything

and that is mystery, is full of love

그 장엄한 이해를 정말로 성장시키고, 그 이해로 들어서는 것은 정말 좋다

온 세상의 원리의 것, 온 세상의 신, 모양조차 벗어난

왜냐하면 우리는 신에게 어떤 모양을 부여한다

우리가, 어떤 모양의 이름과 모습을 잡기 때문이다

그러면 신에게 또한 모양을 준다

하지만 신은 특질, 모양, 모든 것을 벗어나 있다

그래서 그것이 신비다, 사랑으로 가득 차 있다는 것은

and we have to grow in that

we are called to open and expand our understanding to that

because sometiems we feel something that we become attached or addictied to,

compromise some other expressions of god

i call that we should have that attitude to then,

i put that attachment which is personal, i put that on the table, put in the basket of god,

that may the lord transform those limitations to be emcompassing,

so my love can expand in god, in the god field

우리는 그 안에서 성장해야 한다

그 이해에 열리도록, 확장되도록 불렸다

we're not limited by the limitations of the form

and at the same time, in understanding in the universality of god, 

you can experience god in personal ways also

and we have this marvelous, wonderful opportunity

the exercise by the grace of god to really sit, to let go of all things

why to let go of all things, to be detached from them?

to be detached from them,

so you can experience the singulairy

and all encompassing that's of your own inner being,

to really feel the aloneness of that

without feeling that everything else in the world blocks you from seeing that

it really doesn't, it's only an attachment to them,

the false identity within us that creates the sense of separation from god or all things

그것 외 세상의 모든 것이, 그대가 그것을 보는 것을 막는다

정말로 그런 것이 아니라, 집착 때문에

우리 안의 가짜 정체성이, 모든 것들 혹은 신으로부터의 분리감을 만든다

so it's a great prayer to have that attitude that

whatever it takes, i will not give loyalty to this form only

because this form can become a prison to the potential of my being to expand to the infinite

그래서 그런 태도를 갖는 것은 큰 기도다,

무엇이 들든, 난 오로지 이 형상만에 충성하지 않겠다,

왜냐하면 이 형상은, 나의 존재가 무한으로 확장할 수 있는 잠재력을 가두는 것이 될 수 있기 때문이다

you're not here to change the world

or to change your senses or your environment

this is your environment or yourself

and move, do what needs to be done

not like some people who would say, 'what's the point'

no, don't go into any, just be here

그대는 세상을 바꾸기 위해 여기에 있지 않다

혹은 그대의 감각이나 환경을

이것 (진짜 자신) 이 그대의 환경 혹은 그대 자신이다

움직여라, 해야 할 것을 해라

'그래서 뭐'라 말할 사람들처럼이 아니다

그런 어떤 것들로도 들어서지 마라, 그냥 여기 에 있어라

'what's the point of life',

forget that, that's the mind fighting

stay here, and see if this is in conflict with life

you're not being asked to close curtain on life

is the sense's functioning interfering with this?

is this more somewhere else than here?

you have to be grounded in this, because the mind is fighting, 'this is it?' or whatever it is

'삶의 요점이 뭐냐',

그런 것은 잊어라, 그건 마음이 싸우는 것이다

여기 에 머물러라,

그리고 이것 이 삶과 갈등을 만들어내는지 봐라

그대는 삶을 차단하라 요청받는 것이 아니다

감각의 작용이 이것 을 방해하는가

그대는 이것 에서 안정되어야 한다, 마음은 싸우므로

'이게 다냐?',

혹은 뭔가로

but whatever the mind says about it, is not it

as independent self or seperate self gets grounded in it, 

then you earn the experience of how this is with the world

you have to honor it, is worth it

하지만 그것 에 관해 마음이 무슨 말을 하든, 그것 이 아니다

독립적 자신 혹은 분리되어 있는 자신이

그것 에서 안정될수록,

그대는 이것 이 세상과 어떤지에 관한 경험을 얻는다

because by choosing to honor it, you allow god to come inside with you,

you invite the power of god to be with you

but if you choose mental exercise, 'yeah i know--',

you lose interest

그대는 신이 그대와 함께, 안으로 들어서는 것을 허용한다

신의 힘이 그대와 함께 있도록 초대한다

하지만 그대가 정신적 단련을 선택한다면,

and you can practice asking, because your asking become more and more authentic

그래서 요청하는 연습을 할 수 있다

그대의 요청이 점점 더 진실해진다

and if you stay with it, you start to see where the resistance of it is working in life,

to cut you off, and to make you identify with stories, abuse, disadvantage

그대가 그것 과 머문다면,

그것 에 대한 저항이 삶 어디에서 작용하는지 보기 시작한다

그대를 그것 으로부터 차단하고,

그대가 이야기들, 학대, 불리한 점들과 동일시하도록 만드는 것을

you came in this life for this

because you have the capacity and with god the capability to be established in this

but that is your sadhana

to be with this

그대는 이것 을 위해 이 삶에 왔다

그대에게 그럴 만한 힘이 있고,

신과 함게 이것 에서 안정될 수 있는 것이 가능하기 때문이다

하지만 그것이 그대의 수행이다

이것 과 있어라

it's what keeps the personal life

the feeling, thing's not going its way

and its way is never solid, it's always conditional

so you just say, 'i accpet it in god's name'

제한된 인식의 삶이 계속 가도록 하는 것

그 식으로 가지 않는다 는 느낌

그 식은 결코 안정되어 있지 않다, 항상 조건적이다

그러니 그대는 그냥, '난 신의 이름으로 그래라 라 한다'라 해라

우리가 나눌 때, 나는 그것을 너무나 나의 가슴으로, 나의 삶으로,

그런 식으로 받아들인다

그것이 받아들여지지 않을 때, 그건 아프다

그대는 여기에, 이 형상 (몸) 을 통해 주어질 수 있는 최상의 것을 얻기 위해 왔다

그런데 그것을 받아들이지 못했다?

그대 자신의 형상을 붙들었다?

그러면 그대는 그대의 기회를 놓치는 것이다

actually your name is your sadhana

and you have to grow in your name

that's why name should be

why do i give you a name, just to identify with your body?

no, for you to keep remembering that you don't lose yourself in the world, and forget god

you don't forget god ,

and lose yoursrelf in the world, take yourself with merely an object

사실 그대의 이름이 그대의 수행이다

그리고 그대는 그대의 이름 안에서 성장해야 한다

그래서 이름이 있는 것이어야 한다

왜 내가 이름을 주는가, 단지 몸과 동일시 하라고?

아니다, 세상에서 그대 자신을 잃지 않고, 신을 잊지 말도록, 계속해서 떠올리게 하기 위함이다

신을 잊지 마라, 세상에서 그대 자신을 잃지 마라, 

그대 자신을 단지 대상으로만 받아들이지 마라

that is sadhana

when i give a name,

that's what you took as a person

and to be proud of that

no, it is your sadhana

and it is very important that we don't take it a novelty

그것이 수행이다

그대가 제한된 인식으로 받아들이는 것, 그리고 그것으로 자부심을 갖는 것,

아니다, 이름은 그대의 수행이다

그리고 우리가 그것을 뭔 새로운 좋은 것이라 받아들이지 않는 것이 아주 중요하다

what is the meaning of your name?

and have you grown in that name?

can you say that you are worth bearing that name?

그리고 그 이름 안에서 그대는 성장했는가

그대가 그 이름을 갖고 있을 만하다고 할 수 있는가

because so easy what we share get anchored in our person

we receive so many teaching, but we are dissolved in very little of it

the teaching should dissolve the personal identity, and establish you in your original nature

왜냐하면 너무 쉽게, 우리가 나누는 것이, 우리의 제한된 인식에 정착한다

아주 많은 가르침을 받아들이지만, 그것에서 용해되는 것은 아주 적다

가르침은 제한된 동일시를 사라지게 해야 한다, 그리고 그대를 그대의 본성에 자리잡도록

when we are sharing, i take it so much my heart, my life, like that

it hurts when it is not taken

you came here to get the best that can be offered through this form,

and you didn't take it?

you held onto your own form?

then you lose your chance

우리가 나눌 때, 나는 그것을 너무나 나의 가슴으로, 나의 삶으로, 그런 식으로 받아들인다

그것이 받아들여지지 않을 때, 그건 아프다

you may think that you're an individual who is waiting to wake up

beingness is not an individual

the person is lost, not found

그대는 깨어나기를 기다리는 한 개인이라 생각할지도 모른다

존재 는 한 개인이 아니다

어떤 사람 이란 없어지고, 발견되지 않는다

the seeker's mind is full of tricks

but the beingness is not trickable

it's not containing anything, even the world

구도자의 마음은 함정들로 가득하다

하지만 존재는 당할 수 없다

그것 안에 어떤 것도 담고 있지 않다, 세상조차도

you may wonder, 'but if i lose my capactity to'

not losing anything at all

simply returning to yourself

you lost already to take personhood

what more to lose?

'하지만 내가 뭔가 힘을 잃으면 어쩌지'라 고민할 수 있다

잃는 것이 없다

그대 자신으로 되돌아갈 뿐이다

그대는 이미, 제한된 인식을 잡고, 잃었다

더 잃을 게 뭔가

but fear come

because we still have unfulfllled disires from the perspective of person

maya will always do whole range of promises, 'when i get this, then i can be with you completely'

you meaning yourself

even god you may call 'you'

하지만 두려움이 나타난다

우리에게 여전히 제한된 시각에서 채워지지 않은 욕망들이 있기 때문에

환영은 항상 온갖 범주의 약속들을 할 것이다,

'내가 이것을 얻을 때, 그 다음에 난 완전히 당신과 함께 있을 수 있겠다'

당신 이란, 그대 자신이다

신 조차 그대는 '당신'이라 할 것이다

in each system, subjective world is playing

and it is taken as an unquestioned fact, the world we perceive

so we're busy working on our world or trying to avoid it

but i'm not interested in the world so much, but you who taste the world and have feelings about it

and that we're not aware of our own self

our most initmate views are not consistent

there's no stable human being

nothing here in the phenomenal world is stable

각 시스템에, 주관적 세상이 놀이를 벌이고 있다

그리고 그것에 질문이 주어지지 않은 채 사실로 받아들여지고 있다, 우리가 인식하는 세상이

우리는 우리 세상에 작업하느라, 혹은 그것을 피하려 하느라 바쁘다

하지만 나는 세상에 그다지 관심 없다,

세상을 맛보고, 그것에 대한 느낌을 갖는 그대

우리는 우리 자신을 인식하지 못한다

우리에게 가장 친숙한 시각이 일관적이지 못하다

안정되어 있는 인간 존재란 없다

현상계에서는 어떤 것도 안정되어 있지 않다

that's not a curse

that's not a 24th century philosophy

it's just the nature of things

and each of you can see if you stop for a moment to see

그것은 저주가 아니다

24세기의 철학이 아니다

그냥 그것들의 본성이다

그리고 그대들 각자가 볼 수 있다,

그대가 보기 위해 잠시 멈춘다면

find that which is not on the move

you see, the maya mind is not attracted to that

we have to suffer to find that

and also god is not cheap

i'm not talking money or things here

움직이지 않는 것을 찾아라

환영의 마음은 그것에 끌려하지 않는다

'you will search for me and you will find me only when you search with all your heart, your mind, your soul and strength'

because if it came easy, you have no value of it

you must dig to the earth, the god within you

'그대는 나를 찾을 것이다,

그대가 그대의 온 가슴과 마음, 영혼, 힘으로 찾을 때에만,

나를 발견할 것이다'

무슨 뜻인가

쉽게 온다면 그대는 그것에 가치를 두지 않는다

그대가 땅을 파야 한다, 그대 안의 신을

you have space for these words and for this guidance

which we're more living in the domain of personhood, this voice will not come to you

you will not recognize it

so if you recognize it, ask it, help me to come to this

if that urge is with you

그대는 이런 말, 이런 지침을 위한 공간을 갖고 있다

우리가 보다 제한된 인식의 영역에 산다면, 이 목소리는 그대에게 닿지 못할 것이다

그것을 알아차리지 못할 것이다

그러니 그대는 그것을 알아차린다면, 요청해라, '부디 내가 이것에 이르도록 도와달라'고

그 열망이 그대에게 있다면

what you say outwardly, you must mean inwardly

and the change begin

the power is ignited in you

그대가 밖으로 말하는 것은, 안으로 진심인 것이어야 한다

그러면 변화가 시작된다

힘이 그대 안에서 촉발된다

because if your prayer is out of your mind, the mind is not consistent

today's prayer, tomorrow's curse

there's something that is not in that basket

you, your real nature

그대의 기도가 그대의 마음에서 나오는 것이라면

마음은 일관적이지 않다

오늘의 기도가 내일의 저주다

그런 바구니에 있지 않은 것이 있다

그대다, 그대의 진짜 본성이다

if you approach with your heart, and cleaning intellect, you will do it

because we all have to do it at some point

it's only a question of when

this life or another life

another life we've spent, we've not done it

그대의 가슴과 깨끗해지는 지성으로 접근한다면

그대는 그렇게 할 것이다

우리 모두가 어느 지점에서는 해야 한다

언제인가의 문제일 뿐이다

이번 삶이냐 다른 삶이냐

다른 삶을 우리가 보냈다, 하지 못했다

the most natural thing seems billion miles away

how can that which is all pervading, limitless, be lost and by whom?

only hidden by arrogance

가장 자연스러운 것이 너무 멀리 있는 것 같아 보인다

모든 곳에 퍼져 있고, 제한 없는 것이, 어떻게 없어질 수 있을까

그리고 누구에 의해

거만함에 의해 숨겨져 있을 뿐이다

because things trigger us like that

something is worthing giving your attention

and it becomes like a reflex, you don't even consider it

so quickly you depart from your station

station means to be in your natural state

many times you're in your natural state, you don't realize

우리에게 뭔가를 일으킨다,

무언가에게 그대의 주의를 줄 만하다 고

그리고 그것이 습성이 된다, 그것에 대해 그대는 생각도 하지 않는다

그래서 빠르게 그대가 머무는 곳을 뜬다

머무는 곳이란, 그대의 자연스러운 상태

그대는 무수히 그대의 자연스러운 상태에 있다, 그대가 알아차리지 못한다

then how much you're able to listen to the advice in the moment?

something is itching, and you're watching this

don't bother with that

already this is troubling you

at least someone who is to that extent wise and confess, 'this is the thing i need to give up'

그 순간에 그대는 얼마나 조언을 들을 수 있는가,

무언가가 근질거린다, 그리고 그대는 이것을 본다

그것으로 성가셔 하지 마라

이미 이것이 그대를 괴롭히고 있다

적어도, '이것이 내가 그만두어야 하는 것이다'라고 자백할, 그 정도 만큼 현명한 자

you keep catching things.

to see where the seed of maya is living in you

that will be helpful

then the next thing i can say, learn to detach

so power is that it's as though you must invest in your freedom

that means, to persist with it, keep doing

그대는 계속해서 잡아낸다

환영의 씨앗이 그대 안 어디에서 살고 있는지를 본다

그것은 도움이 될 것이다

집착 없는 법을 배워라

the maya in you will tell you - it is not working, it's too difficult, give you something easier,

or tell you to go somewhere else

because it has worked

but you must persist with some faith,

knowing that if you ask genuinely, help is with you

그대 안의 환영은 말할 것이다,

- 효과가 없다, 너무 어렵다, 다른 더 쉬운 것을 주겠다,

혹은 다른 어딘가로 가라 -

그것이 효과가 있는 것이므로

지속해야 한다, 신뢰로

그대가 진심으로 요청하면, 도움이 그대와 있다는 것을 아는 것으로

if you catch the person itself, 

the person is calling the police, but he himself is the thief

if even the sense of the person is caught, 

a rare catch

그대가, '나는 이런 사람이다' 그 자체를 잡아낸다면

'나는 이런 사람이다'가 경찰을 부른다, 

하지만 그 자신이 도둑이다

'나는 이런 사람이다'라는 느낌이 잡힌다면

드물게 잡힌다

and it's important that you're caught

because you can continue going on and creating a lot of mischief for yourself

your mind wants to tell you, 'you got it',

so you stop arresting him

this is why the show goes on and on

thinking you've got it is not it

그대가 잡힌다는 것이 중요하다

we came here to burn up  stuff that really don't belong to you

when we feel the burning, at the same time grace is there

'this is a sign of change'

we are no strangers to the burning

it's sure signs that enzymes of god is working

and it removes things that your mind cannot do

우리는 여기에, 정말로 그대에게 속하지 않는 것들을 태우기 위해 왔다

우리가 타는 것을 느낄 때, 동시에 은혜로움이 있다

when you identify in your person, your person don't have power,

it only has a power to be miserable, then to make complexity

when you bring it into your heart, just get resolved

live as a person, there's no end to personal troubles,

maya get strength from person

그대의 제한된 인식은 힘이 없다,

그저 비참할 수 있을 힘을 갖고 있을뿐

그런 다음 복잡하게 만든다

제한된 인식의 문제에는 끝이 없다

환영은 제한된 인식에서 힘을 얻는다

and i'm so insisting

first encouraging, but now insisting 

for those who are here, you have to shift your perspective into awareness, into your being

be detached, involvement is not helping, your detachment is helping

because your detachment becomes the mirror that reflects back the inner silence of being, 

rest in that

그리고 나는 아주 고집한다,

처음에는 격려한다, 하지만 이제는 고집한다

여기에 있는 자들, 그대들은 시각을 각성으로, 그대의 존재로 이동시켜야 한다

집착 없이 있어라,

개입은 도움이 되지 않는다, 그대의 집착 없음이 도움이 된다

in your being, you look out through the same eyes, but they're different, they're calm

your eyes need to take a rest in your heart

our mind and life need to take a rest in the heart

그대의 존재에서, 같은 눈으로 바라본다, 하지만 그 눈은 다르다, 고요하다

그대의 눈은 그대의 가슴에서 쉴 필요가 있다

우리 마음과 삶은 가슴에서 쉴 필요가 있다

so when you withdraw, and you sit, then sometimes you feel the burning,

you don't feed the mind also, you feel the burning

but even when you feed the mind, you still get the burning some time because it's not our true place

그래서 그대가 뒤로 물러날 때, 그리고 앉는다,

그러면 때로는 타는 것을 느낀다

마음에게 먹이를 줄 필요 또한 없다

하지만 그대가 마음에 먹이를 줄 때에도, 그럼에도 타는 것을 느끼는 때가 있다,

왜냐하면 그것은 우리의 진실한 자리가 아니므로

so i have a great respect for this burning

나는 이 타는 것에 대한 큰 존중이 있다

now in sahaja, it's different, more naked, it's like even more wilderness again

you have to dry out

social side, we're not here for that

you come here for you, for god, for just burning up stuff which is not really inside this

이제 사하자에서는, 다르다,

보다 드러난다, 다시 더 황야에 있는 것과 같다

그대는 다 말라야 한다

사회, 사교적 측면, 우리는 그것을 위해 있는 것이 아니다

그대는 여기에 그대를 위해, 신을 위해, 정말로 이 안에 있지 않은 것들을 태우기 위해 온다

otherwise we are an expert in wasting times

그렇지 않으면 우리는 시간을 낭비하는데 전문가다

this moment is your contemplation, better than sitting contemplation, better than quiet moment

이 순간이 그대의 숙고다, 앉아서 숙고하는 것보다 낫다, 고요한 순간보다 낫다

노력이 은혜로움에 의해 온다면, 그 노력은 유용할 수 있다

노력이 강제로, 거만함으로 온다면, 그것은 그냥 더 많은 문제를 만들어낼 뿐이다

이것에 대해 그대가 명확해야 한다

오랫동안 그대가 수행하는데 왜 열매가 없는지 알고 싶다면, 이곳을 봐라

when you go through the door authentically, the door itself disappears

and the difference between this room and another room disappear

그대가 문을 진심으로 통과할 때, 그 문 자체가 사라진다

그리고 이 방과 또 다른 방 사이의 차이가 사라진다

'cannot come by just effort'

'단지 노력으로 올 수 없다'

but effort come by grace also

if effort come by grace, the effort can be useful

if effort come by force, arrogance, it will just make more trouble

this you must be clear about

if you want to see why so long you practice, no fruit, look here

하지만 노력 또한 은혜로움에 의해 온다

노력이 은혜로움에 의해 온다면, 그 노력은 유용할 수 있다

노력이 강제로, 거만함으로 온다면, 그것은 그냥 더 많은 문제를 만들어낼 뿐이다

이것에 대해 그대가 명확해야 한다

오랫동안 그대가 수행하는데 왜 열매가 없는지 알고 싶다면, 이곳을 봐라

so you're reminded that from ancient times, the sage tell you,

고대로부터 현자가 말하는 것이 떠오른다

'you are this

but for that really to be clear for you, you have to either inquire or surrender yourself

because it's very difficult to shake off the personal identity, however hard you try

but with some grace, with some merit that you may not even know about,

there are people come to satsang, in the beginning they're pure trouble

in a short time, they transcend

the one who seems like doing well even

'그대는 이것이다,

하지만 그것이 정말로 그대에게 명확해지기 위해서는

그대가 탐구를 하거나, 그대 자신을 내맡겨야 한다'

왜냐하면 제한된 동일시를 흔들기가 아주 어렵기 때문이다

얼마나 그대가 열심히 노력하든

하지만 은혜로움과, 이점과, 

그대가 아마 알지도 못할

사트상에 오는 이들 중에, 처음에는 완전히 엉망인 사람들이 있다

짧은 시간 안에, 그들이 변한다

잘 하고 있는 것 같아 보이는 그 자조차

in fact, they don't transcend anybody

they just come home

they're not in competition to transcend anybody

사실 그들은 어느 누구도 변화시키지 않는다

그냥 집으로 돌아오는 것 뿐이다

그들은 어느 누구와 변화시키는데서 경쟁하지 않는다

the force of our own conditioning is painting the map of your life

what you have believed in this person

all we talk about, even about satsang, coming from person

that's why i say, learn to observe with detachment

only with persistence, with grace, something slips behind, even the person

우리 자신의 조건화의 힘이 그대 삶의 지도를 그린다

그대가 '이런 사람'이라 믿는 것을

우리가 말하는 모든 것, 사트상에 대해서조차, 제한된 인식에서 나온다

그래서 내가 말하는 것이다, 집착 없이 바라보는 법을 배워라

오로지 끈기 있게 하는 것으로, 은혜로움으로, 무언가가 뒤로 간다, 제한된 인식 뒤로

and grace give you right effort

you're never out of grace

but with mind misread grace

그리고 은혜로움이 그대에게 적절한 노력을 준다

그대는 결코 은혜로움에서 벗어나 있지 않다

하지만 마음으로, 은혜로움을 잘못 읽는다

the truth will not be revealed in arrogant mind

it's impossible actually

but that experience must be tasted on the journey to our awakening also

because we cannot help being arrogant, in the state of personhood

so this is not a judgment against you

but more of a way of exposing something that it's undetected holding you back

and maybe another voice is convincing, 'you're doing well'

진리는 거만한 마음에서 드러나지 않을 것이다

사실 그것은 불가능하다

하지만 그 경험 또한, 우리가 깨어나는 여정 중 맛보게 된다

왜냐하면 우리는 거만하지 않을 수 없다, 제한된 인식의 상태에서는

그래서 그대에 대한 심판이 아니다

보다는 탐지되지 않은 것이 그대를 저지하고 있다는 것을 폭로하는 한 방식이다

아마 다른 목소리가, '넌 잘 하고 있어'라 확신을 주고 있을 것이다

so this is the power of himility

그래서 겸손의 힘이

see the enemy, but don't focus on enemy

be one with the witness who is unassociated with what is being witnessed

and i need to keep checking in with you also

because you have to be present in these things

because if you take the tablet, it will work

but if you keep it in your mind, it will not work

적을 봐라, 하지만 적에 초점을 맞추지 마라

바라보아지는 것과 연관되어 있지 않은, 바라봄과 하나로 있어라

그리고 나는 그대와 함께 점검해 봐야 하기도 한다

이런 것들에서 그대는 현존해야 하므로

그대가 약을 먹는다면, 그것은 작용할 것이다

하지만 그것을 그대의 마음에 둔다면, 그것은 작용하지 않을 것이다

그대가 진심으로 무언가를 한다면

그리고 성취자인 느낌 혹은 그런 무언가를 붙들고 있지 않다면

더 순수하게, 더 빠르게 결실에 이른다

you know the difference between the mind and that which is not mind

it's quiet, it's not keeping quiet

마음과 마음 아닌 것 사이의 차이를 안다

그것은 조용하다, 조용히 하고 있는 것이 아니다

much knowledge we claim to have is only mental knowledge

one of the most dangerous things is that you feel you've known, you got it

so therefore an arrogant person cannot get it

it is safeguarded against the arrogance

one must be respectful

우리가 갖고 있다고 하는 많은 아는 것들은, 정신적으로 아는 것일 뿐이다

가장 위험한 것들 중 하나는, 그대가 알았다 라고 느끼는 것이다

그래서 거만한 자는 그것을 얻을 수 없다

그것은 거만함에 대항해 보호되고 있다

존중이 있어야 한다

이 몸은 그것을 극복하라고 주어진다

몸을 극복하는 것이 아니라, 동일시, 몸 안에서의 거만함을 극복하라고

그것은 나 라는 느낌으로 드러나고도 있다

그 나 라는 느낌은 명확히 하기가 쉽지 않다

왜냐하면 본래 나 는 존재일 뿐이므로

그것이 제한된 인식이 되는 것으로, 몸과 동일시하는 것으로, 왜곡된다

i'm curious, because

love, you have not experienced enough

peace, you have not experienced enough

joy, you've not experienced enough

in this life, using the person as the experiencer, you have not experienced love enough, depth enough,

silence enough, detachment enough, emptiness enough

글쎄, 왜냐하면

사랑은 그대가 충분히 경험해 보지 못했다

평화를 그대는 충분히 경험해 보지 못했다

기쁨을 그대는 충분히 경험해 보지 못했다

이 삶에서,

제한된 인식을, 경험하는 자로서 사용하면서

그대는 사랑을 충분히, 깊이를 충분히, 침묵을 충분히, 집착 없음을 충분히, 비어 있음을 충분히

경험해 보지 못했다

so if you say then 'i see this',

don't rush, allow this

because the perfume, you're walking in the road, 

you feel the smell of roses, you follow, it take you to the rose

그래서 그대가 '난 이것 (평화, 사랑, 등등 조차) 을 바라본다'라 한다면

서두르지 마라, 그것을 허용해라

왜냐하면 향기가

그대가 길을 걷는다, 장미의 향기를 느낀다, 따라간다, 그것이 그대를 장미로 데려간다

sometimes we can say, 'i can see this',

and you who are seeing this is what?

우리는, '난 이것을 바라볼 수 있다'라 말하곤 한다

그러면 그것을 바라보는 그대는 무엇인가

gradually all that you are watching and stuff, dissolve into this

they are slayed by peace

it's not unending 'get behind, get behind, --'

점차 점차 그대가 바라보는 등의 모든 것이, 이것 에서 사라진다

평화에 의해 베어진다

끝없는, '이 뒤에는, 이 뒤에는, --'이 아니다

just remain as that impersonal awareness

even if there is shaking happening, it's not this

what is this?

you cannot say what this is

you can describe the perfume

who is looking for result also?

그냥 제한 없는 각성으로서 남아 있어라

떨림이 일어난다 해도, 그것은 이것 이 아니다

이것 은 무엇인가

그대는 이것이 무엇인지 말할 수 없다

향기는 묘사할 수 있다

열매를 바라는 자는 또한 누구인가

if there is nothing more to see, 

then what? abide

not more work, more work

abide is the work

더 이상 바라볼 것이 없다면

그러면 뭔가?

지켜라

더 많은 작업, 더 많은 작업 이 아니다

지키는 것이 작업이다

if you are genuinely doing something, and you're not holding on some sense of being achiever or something,

you're come to the fruit more genuinely, more quickly

you know the difference between the mind and that which is not mind

it's quiet, it's not keeping quiet

그대가 진심으로 무언가를 한다면,

그리고 성취자인 느낌이나 무언가를 붙들고 있지 않다면

더 순수하게, 더 빠르게 결실에 이른다

마음과 마음 아닌 것 사이의 차이를 안다

그것은 조용하다, 조용히 하고 있는 것이 아니다

much knowledge we claim to have is only mental knowledge

one of the most dangerous things is that you feel you've known, you got it

so therefore an arrogant person cannot get it

우리가 갖고 있다고 하는 많은 아는 것들은, 정신적으로 아는 것일 뿐이다

가장 위험한 것들 중 하나는, 그대가 알았다 라고 느끼는 것이다

그것은 거만함에 대항해 보호되고 있다

존중이 있어야 한다

this body is given to overcome it

not to overcome the body, but to overcome the identity, the arrogance in the body

that is also manifesting as the feeling i, i am

that i am feeling is not easy to clarify

because originally the i am is only the beingness

but it get distorted by becoming person, by identity with the body

이 몸은 그것을 극복하라고 주어진다

몸을 극복하는 것이 아니라, 동일시, 몸 안에서의 거만함을 극복하라고

그것은 나 라는 느낌으로 드러나고도 있다

그 나 라는 느낌은 명확히 하기가 쉽지 않다

왜냐하면 본래 나 는 존재일 뿐이므로

그것이 제한된 인식이 되는 것으로, 몸과 동일시하는 것으로, 왜곡된다

so assumed,

most likely be speaking through personhood

even the nicest person

because even the sage has to use the language of personhood

그래서 추정되기로는,

대개 주로 제한된 인식을 통해 말하고 있을 것이다

가장 좋은 사람조차

왜냐하면 현자라 해도 제한된 인식의 언어를 활용해야 하므로

but as you go, as you follow the simple guidance, 

beecause it's the mind that wants the complex knowledge

it wants to claim something

but the door is simple

but those who are willing to go through the door is rare

하지만 그대가 갈수록, 간단한 지침을 따를수록,

왜냐하면 복잡한 지식을 원하는 것은 마음이다

마음은 무언가에 대한 권리를 내세우고 싶어한다

하지만 문은 단순하다

그러나 그 문을 통과하려 하는 자들은 드물다

우리는 제한된 인식의 형상으로만 사는 것이 독인지를 알아차리지 못한다

왜 독인가,

그것은 그대 존재의 완결을 막기 때문이다

오염이다,

언제나 무수한 개념들과 의도들, 자유롭기 위한 준비, 이런 온갖 것들

자유는 자유다, 하지만 싸지 않다

그대가 그것을 위해 애써야 한다

우리 모두 아주 나쁜 습관들을 길러놨다

나쁜 습관이란, 그대가 마음과 제한된 인식인 듯 사는 것

결코 자유로워지지 않을 것이다

자유란, 그대가 끊어지지 않는 행복과 평화다 라는 것이다

그것은 오로지 가슴에서 일어난다, 머리가 아니다

머리를 바라보는 법을 배워야 한다, 가슴에 남아 있으면서

그대가 보는 그 밖에 모든 것들이 일시적이다

that's why this exercise is called just be given

now sahaja listens so much teachings over the years

now sit down

so i put it in front of sangha, i don't want to hear any more your stories

your story is not important for you, not important for me

it doesn't contribute anything to the world

it's ego that is thinking you're something special--

그래서 이 연습이 '그냥 있어라'라 불린다

사하자는 수 년에 걸쳐 아주 많은 가르침들을 들었다

이제 앉아라

내가 공동체 앞에 그것을 둔다

난 더 이상 그대의 이야기들을 듣고 싶지 않다

그대의 이야기는 그대에게 중요하지 않고, 나에게 중요하지 않다

세상에 어떤 것도 기여하지 않는다

그대가 뭔가 특별하다고 생각하는 것은 에고일 뿐이다

if you really intend to wake up to the potential of your being, 

to awaken to the height of your being,

than going around in the circle,

then sit and do

그대가 계속 돌고 돌기 보다

정말로 그대 존재의 잠재력에 깨어나려 한다면,

그대 존재의 정점에 깨어나려 한다면,

그러면 앉아서, 해라

so i feel an intelligent being, 'i must give it a try'

it doesn't matter if you find it is so hard

you know why so hard? because the furst is so sweet

it's not cheap

freedom is free, is not cheap

you must work for it

because all of us have developed very bad habits

and bad habit is to live as though you're mind and your person

you will never be free

그래서 나는, 지성적 존재란, '난 시도해 봐야 한다'로 느껴진다

그것이 너무 힘들다고 발견하는 것은 상관없다

왜 너무 힘든지 아는가

그 결실이 너무 맛있으므로

그것은 싸구려가 아니다

자유는 자유다, 싸지 않다

그대는 그것을 위해 애써야 한다

우리 모두 아주 나쁜 습관들을 길러놨다

그리고 나쁜 습관은, 그대가 마음과 제한된 인식인 듯 사는 것

결코 자유로워지지 않을 것이다

freedom means that you are unbroken happiness and peace

that only happens here (heart), not here (head)

you have to learn to observe this (head) while remaining here (heart)

자유란, 그대가 끊어지지 않는 행복과 평화다 라는 것이다

그것은 오로지 가슴에서 일어난다, 머리가 아니다

머리를 바라보는 법을 배워야 한다, 가슴에 남아 있으면서

everything else is you see, those are momentary

그대가 보는 그 밖에 모든 것들이 일시적이다

maya will read scriptures to you

but he will set you up so that you'll not really take it in

hitchhiking from teaching to teaching, but to sit,

just like you cannot learn meditation from reading books

you have to sit

i've not even called it a meditation

observing, self observation

환영이 그대에게 경전들을 읽어줄 것이다

하지만 그는 설치해 놓을 것이다, 그대가 그것을 정말로 받아들이지는 않도록

가르침에서 가르침으로의 히치하이킹

붙들고 앉지는 않는다

책을 읽는 것에서 명상을 배울 수 없는 것과 같다

앉아야 한다

난 그것을 명상이라 하지도 않는다

관찰하기, 자기 관찰

this i find is the most direct

live as though you don't have time

because maya will offer you time, 'you can do it next week'

for this, you must choose

and i will say, the authentic power in the universe supports your seeing this

이것이 내가 가장, 바로 가는 것으로 보는 것이다

그대에게 시간이 없는 것처럼 살아라

환영은 그대에게 시간을 내놓을 것이므로, '넌 그것을 다음 주에 할 수 있다'

이것에서, 그대가 선택해야 한다

그리고 나는 말하겠다,

온 세상의 진실한 힘이 그대가 이것을 바라보는 것을 지원한다

if you want to use your time well, in a wolrd you go and sit by yourself a bit

we don't realize living only in the form of personhood is poison,

why poison? because it blocks your completeness of your being,

contamination, always a lot of concepts, intentions, preparing to be free, all this kind of stuff

그대의 시간을 잘 활용하고 싶다면, 세상에서 잠시 그대 홀로 가서 앉아라

우리는 제한된 인식의 형상으로만 사는 것이 독인지를 알아차리지 못한다

왜 독인가,

그것은 그대 존재의 완결을 차단하기 때문이다

오염이다,

언제나 무수한 개념들과 의도들, 자유롭기 위한 준비, 이런 온갖 것들

you cannot fail

fail means, you give up, mind beat you up

그대는 실패할 수 없다

실패란, 그대가 포기하는 것이다, 마음이 그대를 때려 눕힌다

learn to sit

there has never been an awaken being who has not sat

and try to be yourself

but without self image

that releases the grace of the supreme

앉는 법을 배워라

앉지 않은, 깨어난 존재는 있은 적이 없다

그대 자신으로 있으려 해라

하지만 자기 이미지 없이

그것으로 최상의 존재의 은혜로움이 놓여난다

so if you wish to take this, i bless you for this

to power in the universe which is totally aligned with your inmost being,

impart grace to you for this

그대가 이것을 받아들이고 싶다면

난 이것을 위해 그대를 축복한다

온 세상의 힘, 완전히 그대 가장 안쪽의 존재와 일치하는 것이

이것을 위해 그대에게 은혜로움을 건넨다

that is the most empowering time i can have with you

그것이 내가 그대와 함께할 수 있는, 가장 힘을 주는 시간인 것이다
